The struggle continues... 2UP.  Moderate succes.  Prints weak due to underextrusion (?) walls did not bond horizontally.  - Up extrusion and temps slightly.

Printed @ %100.

Bad scarring on surface - Suspect because the retraction was defaulted to 1.6 which seems to be much too high for E3D + MTW Extruder + ABS

Surprised supports still broke cleanly away!  Must be because gap sacled up with model - wider contact area for supports, but higher gap.

Finally improved on surface quality.  Someof the props didn't print properly.  Retract set to 0.6 now.  Will up temp back to 235.

Tiny Fins Triumph?

Seems to be better?!?!

A lot stronger, but still fairly weak at wing inserts.  Acceptable.

 

Used 0.2 for the straight parts, 0.1 for the bottom fins and the tiny fin layers using S3D's multilayer setup.  Temp constant throughout @ 240

Worst one yet.  Increased heat seems to be causing more surface defects.  Will go the opposite direction.

°Tiny Fin: The plot thickens

2 x MQ9-FuseNose_RW_NLG_MS-0.4OptimisedV3 Raising the support to full touch helped the top fin.  Still messy though.  May need to be thickened.  Will use S3D to drop temps for small fin section as well.

 

Piece was also weak.  Increasing temp 5°C.  Increasing shell from 2 to 3

Prop Mystery Continues

Try#2 Good bed adhesion.  Poor surface quality - will raise nozzle temp another 5°C.

100% sizing.  Worked as expected.  Seperated easily from raft.  Some roughness.  Prop pins pressure fit snugly.

Printed with HIPS.

Slight curling.  

S3D's initial temp of 245 seemed to be too high with sagging on small parts. Adjusted in print to 235 with improvements in surface quality.
